The Performer

Done Amplified brings cutting-edge unmanned aviation technology to SkyFest, demonstrating the growing role of drones in public safety, emergency response, and wildfire management. During the aerial demonstration, Alchemy Analytics will showcase how advanced drone systems work alongside manned aircraft to support wildfire operations and protect communities.

As part of the demonstration, the team will utilize specialized aerial ignition technology to conduct a controlled burn scenario. This simulated wildfire operation will highlight how drones can safely and efficiently ignite prescribed fires, allowing firefighting agencies to reduce hazardous fuels and manage wildfire risk. Following the ignition operation, aircraft from the Nevada Division of Forestry and Rutledge Airborne will demonstrate aerial firefighting techniques used to suppress and contain wildfires.

The Aircraft

Freefly Alta X with IGNIS® 2

The Freefly Alta X heavy-lift drone is paired with the IGNIS® 2 aerial ignition system, an advanced platform used by fire management agencies throughout North America. The system deploys small ignition spheres, commonly known as "dragon eggs" or "dragon balls," which ignite shortly after reaching the ground to create carefully controlled burns. This technology allows wildfire professionals to conduct prescribed fire operations more safely, efficiently, and effectively than traditional methods.

Perimeter 8

The Perimeter 8 is a professional-grade unmanned aerial system designed for demanding public safety and industrial missions. Equipped with advanced sensors and imaging capabilities, the aircraft provides real-time situational awareness, mapping, and reconnaissance support for emergency responders and land management agencies operating in challenging environments.

Black Eagle 50

Visitors will also have an opportunity to see the impressive Black Eagle 50, a Group 3 unmanned helicopter system designed for long-endurance missions and heavy-duty operational environments. With its large rotorcraft design and advanced capabilities, the Black Eagle 50 demonstrates how unmanned helicopters are expanding the possibilities for aerial surveillance, emergency response, and specialized aviation operations.
